Overview: isee NetSim

isee NetSim™ allows you to publish your iThink and STELLA models to the Internet or other network so that you to easily share your models with anyone, even if they don't have iThink or STELLA.

Tip: You can see examples of web-based models created with isee NetSim on the isee systems web site.

To publish models with isee NetSim, you must purchase a license for it, and you must be running iThink/STELLA version 9.1 or higher. You also need access to a web site where you can publish models. If you do not already have access to a web site, isee NetSim allows you to open a free account with Forio Simulate™. For more information about Forio Simulate, visit www.forio.com/isee.

Note: To publish models to Forio Simulate without using isee NetSim, see Importing models into Forio Simulate™.

To publish models with isee NetSim

  1. Prepare the model interface by laying it out in pages (you may have already performed this step if you built the model with publication in mind).
  2. Check that the model meets isee NetSim requirements and does not include unsupported objects or features. For a list of current requirements and unsupported features, see the "isee NetSim Requirements" section on the isee systems web site.
  3. Export the model from iThink or STELLA as a NetSim (.TXM) file.
  4. Use the isee NetSim wizard to publish the model to the location you select.
