Defining hyperlink buttons

Use the following procedure to place a hyperlink button in your model and to define the link (web site or file on your computer) that will be displayed when the button is clicked.

For more information about the types of buttons you can add to your model, see Overview: Buttons.

Notes: In order for model users to open the file or URL assigned to the Hyperlink button, they must have the associated application or browser installed on their computer.

We recommend that you store all files associated with Hyperlink buttons in a folder named "Links", in the same folder as your model file. This helps ensure that your model and its associated files will be easily transportable from your machine to the machines of your clients and colleagues, or when publishing to the web.
