Creating new model files

Use the following procedure to create a new, blank model file.

Tip: You can create a new model file by copying an existing model file with the Save As command. For more information, see Saving models.

To create a new model file

1. From the File menu, choose New, or press CTRL+N (Windows) or Command+N (Mac).

   If you already have a model open in the iThink/STELLA window, a message appears that asks you if you want to save changes to the currently open model.

2. Select whether or not you want to save changes to the currently open window.

   A new, blank diagram opens in the iThink/STELLA window.

You can now start building the model and can save the new model.
